What is LingoCast?+
LingoCast is a consecutive interpreter and language practice app. It translates when a speaker pauses, then turns saved sentences into replay, flashcards and streaks—no account required.
Do I need an account?+
No. There is nothing to register and nothing to log into. Your conversations stay on your device.
Does it work offline?+
Free on-device translation works without the internet on iOS 18+ or Android 8+, with a supported language pair and installed resources. On iOS 15–17 and Android 6–7, translation needs an active Pro subscription and a network connection. Offline voice input also needs an on-device speech recognizer; otherwise the platform’s speech service may process audio online. Pro is enhanced cloud text translation while online.
Is this simultaneous interpreting?+
No. LingoCast does consecutive interpreting—it translates when the speaker pauses. It is assistive technology, not a professional interpreter.
Where do I buy Pro?+
Pro is an in-app purchase from Apple, Google or Amazon. LingoCast does not sell subscriptions on this website.
How do I cancel?+
Cancel in your Apple ID, Google Play or Amazon subscription settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.
How are refunds handled?+
Apple, Google and Amazon control billing and refunds. Request a refund through the store where you subscribed.
Can support read my conversations?+
No. Conversation content stays on your device. Support cannot read local transcripts. Pro cloud requests are processed transiently for translation only.
